Configure SNMP traps
You can add to the list of SNMP-enabled device traps to monitor:
Follow these steps to configure SNMP traps:
- To select your client, navigate to All Clients, and click the Client/Partner dropdown menu.
Note: You may either type your client’s name in the search bar or select your client from the list. - Navigate to Setup > Account > Integrations. The Account Details screen is displayed.
- The Installed Integrations screen is displayed with all the installed applications.
Note: If you do not have any installed applications, you will be navigated to the Available Integrations page with all the available applications along with the newly created application. - Click +ADD on the Installed Integrations page.
Note: Search for the integration either by entering the name of the integration in the search bar or by selecting the category of the integration from the All Categories dropdown list. - Click ADD in the SNMP Traps Configuration application tile.
- Enter the following information in the GENERAL DETAILS:

Name | Text (Required) | Enter a unique and descriptive name for the SNMP trap monitor configuration. |
Exclude or Include OIDs | Radio Buttons | Select whether to include or exclude specific trap OIDs in processing. You cannot use both in a single configuration. |
OIDs | Multi-entry Text | Specify the list of OIDs to include or exclude based on the selection above. Each OID must be valid and non-duplicate.Note

Receive traps from all resources | Radio Button | Option to allow traps from all monitored devices regardless of their group or resource configuration. |
Receive traps from specified resource groups only | Radio Button | Option to receive traps only from selected resource groups configured in the platform. |
Receive traps from specified resources only | Radio Button | Option to receive traps only from individually selected resources. |
Discard traps from specific IP addresses | Radio Button | Option to ignore traps coming from the specified IP addresses. |
IP Address | Multi-entry Text | Enter one or more IP addresses to be excluded from trap processing. Press Enter after each entry to add. |
Process all interface traps | Checkbox | If selected, traps from both monitored and non-monitored interfaces will be processed. |
Click FINISH, the integration is installed and displayed on the Installed Integrations page. Use the search icon to search the installed integration.
